The origin of roulette
The game of Roulette has been around for centuries and over time, there has been many legends connected with roulette. Some of them are quite believable and some more mysterious.
One myth that has been told very often is that the origin of the roulette wheel goes back to the ancient China where the royal family played a game related to roulette. Over the years the wheel developed to contain numbers and colors as we know it from roulette today.
We will probably never be able to establish whether roulette was invented in China, France or Italy but that is not that important. The important thing is that roulette actually has been invented which enable us to enjoy the fun and joy the game brings us whether we play it online or offline. |
